Bamboo Massage

In this massage, bamboo canes of different lengths and diameters are used as a massage tool to give a deep, firm massage. The muscles are kneaded, which assist in the release of tension and easing of knots. This technique works in a similar way to hot stone massage and has similar effects to a deep tissue massage.

The Ultimate
Mental Health & Wellbeing Massage

This treatment was the first one that I designed based entirely on feedback from my clients, after I asked them what they felt would improve their mental health and general sense of wellbeing. With stress being a major factor of modern life, and associated issues such as anxiety and insomnia on the rise, it is designed to be relaxing and comforting, both during the treatment and afterwards.

After choosing a blend of essential oils to suit your needs, the treatment begins with breathing exercises and the application of hot stones to warm the muscles and enhance relaxation. The treatment is followed by the massage on back, neck and shoulders, arms, back of the legs, feet, face and scalp.

Myofascial Release Massage and Myofascial Cupping

MFR is a specialised treatment that releases restrictions within the connective tissue and involves sustained but gentle pressure to allow the fascia to elongate and restore to a healthy position. It is beneficial to everyone but can be especially useful to people with back/neck pain, poor posture, sciatica, fibromyalgia, physical and psychological stress and postural irregularities to name a few. The treatment can increase energy levels, restore muscle function, help balance the body, make you feel relaxed, “freer” and “lighter” afterwards.

Myofascial cupping is based on ancient Chinese methods of creating healing in the body through suction. It involves the application of decompressed cups on the skin, creating a vacuum effect that lifts up underlying tissues such as the fascia, muscles, blood and other fluid close to the surface of the skin. Main benefits of this treatment are increased circulation, increased joint range of motion, reduction of muscle tension, detoxification and increased mobility of connective tissues.
